Control Panel Assembly
Our Control Panel Assembly capability is a natural extension of PCBA’s, Box Builds, and Cable Harness Assembly, with most panel projects requiring expertise from all three. Because of our vertically integrated production capability, we are able to manage large, complex, and fully turnkey projects with relative ease.
We maintain flexible production floor space, and custom designed panel production lines to maximize throughput and access to internal resources. Our engineers and technicians work with our customers to support agency and regulatory approvals, as well as site commissioning and acceptance testing, ensuring a smooth process, from order to end-user delivery.

Needs Assessment:
We first work to understand the problems customers are trying to solve, and to then determine how best we can solve them. ECI’s philosophy is to fit our services only where they are needed, and to advise where our expertise allows.
NPI:
We ensure configuration, materials, and special processes, among many others, are called out and defined, and design our processes accordingly. This is part of a controlled process, which is transparent to our customers.
Quality Assurance:
Ensuring quality control as well as ongoing quality assurance is embedded in our culture, and provides the basis for all our manufacturing. We work to establish key characteristics and inspection criteria to ensure maximum quality and reliability.
Logistics:
Material and inventory management is a consistent challenge for all manufacturers, and we can support any model: full turnkey to fully consigned, and everything in between. We also support Kanban and many other unique inventory management options.

About Our Panel Assembly Capabilities

We engage with our customers at every stage of the process from design through to final site acceptance, to ensure we are not only aligned but in step. Panel Assembly Capabilities
Our panel and wiring technicians are experts, and form the foundation of our panel business. We work with our customers and their designers to ensure we have a clear understanding of requirements and to capture as many of the ‘little things’ as we can: from wire labeling requirements to necessary component clearances to dust or moisture ingress considerations at the panel level, and everything in between.
Panel design and installation is complex, and logistics and rework are costly, which is why we approach the process as transparently as possible. Applying our expertise in constant communication with our customers, has left us with happy customers. We prefer things that way!
ECI's Test & Inspection Processes
We believe in delivering value to our customers, and to date, no customer has any value for product that doesn’t work. Each panel configuration requires individualized testing process, equipment, criteria and protocols to be developed, which we can. This is combined with a rigorous protocol developed by ECI specifically to address best practices and ensure we support any agency requirements (CSA/UL/CE).
Depending on the size of the project, we also play an active role in Factory Acceptance Testing, where we work with all layers of the supply chain to ensure a smooth delivery and commissioning process.
